About Yorkville

Yorkville is one of Calgary's newest SW communities — first homes opened around 2017, with build-out continuing through the mid-2020s. The community sits at the southern edge of Calgary along 14 Street SW, just south of Silverado and west of Legacy.

Housing types are deliberately varied: detached two-storey homes on standard lots, paired homes, and a growing townhome and stacked-condo supply along the commercial corridor. Builders include Brookfield, Jayman, Cardel, and Mattamy. The community's pathway network and central pond are daily-life amenities.

School coverage is still building out, with new on-community schools planned. Centennial High School (CBE) currently covers public 10-12 for many Yorkville addresses. Spruce Meadows is a 5-minute drive west — meaningful for equestrian-adjacent families.

Pricing typically runs $475K townhomes through $725K detached. Yorkville attracts first-time buyers, families with school-age children, and a strong cohort of newcomer families. Compare with Silverado, Belmont, and Legacy.
